Enrollment of IHSS Homecare Workers

Does an IHSS client want to hire you? Do you need information on how to enroll? Go to the IHSS Information page for details on the three enrollment steps: Orientation, Background Check and completion of the Enrollment Packet.

Mandatory Orientation for IHSS Homecare Workers

Are you a new IHSS homecare worker? Or are you a veteran homecare worker who hasn’t been paid as an IHSS provider for over a year? Either way, you must attend a one hour orientation at the IHSS offices and complete the Department of Justice (DOJ) background check.
